As impossible as it may seem, however, you can accomplish this from home. All that's needed to get sexy, silky and smooth hair like a Hollywood star is a few styling products and a good hair dryer.

     Get a top-quality hair dryer. One with an attachable brush is ideal for ensuring that the hair is smooth. Otherwise, a round brush with a good-quality dryer will achieve the same results.

     Buy styling products to achieve shiny and silky hair. Shampoos and conditioners, leave-in conditioners, oil sheen and silicone serums can help you achieve that glossy shine. They also protect the hair from the heat exposed to it during the styling process.

   • • 3 Shampoo and condition the hair. This is the time to apply special conditioners or treatments to boost shine and make the hair silky.

       Towel-dry hair and apply leave-in treatment, shine serum or other styling product.
